ABC didn’t have the bloodbath that some other networks did. Here’s a look at all the ABC cancelled shows in 2022.

Every May, there is one network that delivers a bloodbath of cancellations. The CW was that network in May 2022, but other networks still had some big cancellations happen. Some shows came to an end, with the final season ordered to give fans a chance to say goodbye to the beloved characters.

We already knew that black-ish was renewed for an eighth and final season last year, so that show would get a good series finale. What about other shows? What are the ABC cancelled shows in 2022?

Queens and more ABC cancelled shows in 2022

ABC quickly handed out renewals to some of its biggest shows. These included Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19. That was soon followed by renewals for The Good Doctor and The Rookie. What about the others?

The majority of the ABC lineup was renewed. Only two shows other than black-ish have come to an end, and they weren’t all that surprising.

Promised Land was the first. The midseason freshman drama struggled immediately in the ratings. Things were so bad that the show was moved to Hulu and The Good Doctor was brought back earlier than expected in early 2022. It was pretty clear that this series would be one of the cancelled ABC shows.

Queens was the other cancellation, which also wasn’t too surprising. The ratings weren’t the greatest in a difficult timeslot. The finale aired back in February 2022, and it took until May for the network to finally make a decision. If it was going to be good news, we would have received that fairly sharpish.
