ABC midseason 2022 schedule: The Bachelor, Women of the Movement, and more

The schedules for the midseason lineup on broadcast are being set. ABC has brought us the listings for the start of January.

Unlike The CW and CBS, the listings for the ABC midseason 2022 schedule are only for the start of January. There are a few TV shows missing, including Grey’s Anatomy and The Rookie. There’s no reason given as to why for some of them, but it’s likely all linked to pandemic filming delays.

Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy both took long breaks last year because of the pandemic. It looks like ABC would prefer another long hiatus instead of a broken up schedule. This long break does mean other new shows get a chance in a good timeslot.

Big Sky is also missing, but this isn’t a bad sign. It’s likely linked to filming, similarly to Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19. This was another show that took a long break last season as filming on a second storyline started.

We do have some usual suspects returning, though. The Bachelor will premiere its new season, and the comedy lineup almost stays the same. Let’s take a look at the full schedule.
