FOX has made a decision about two of its shows from the 2023–2023 season. Alert: Missing Persons Unit is one of them. Is it good news?

We haven’t had much in the way of renewal news, especially when it comes to FOX shows. Well, some good news came for two shows recently, and one of them is Alert: Missing Persons Unit.

The show, which wrapped its first season back on Feb. 27, has been renewed for a second season. TVLine brought the exciting news.

When will Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 premiere?

FOX hasn’t announced its fall schedule just yet. There is a chance that the Dania Ramirez series will remain part of the midseason schedule. If it moves to the fall, there will be a push to add more episodes, and I don’t see that working for this series that is part procedural and part serialized.

The mystery surrounding who Keith was ended up being solved by the Season 1 finale. However, there is now a big question about where the real Keith’s remains are. Sidney says that her brother drowned in the lake, so we’re sure to see a search for those remains. Is it possible that the real Keith did end up surviving somehow? Will Nikki and Jason just get closure knowing what happened to their son?
