All American Season 3 premiere date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more
All American Season 3 wasn’t part of the fall lineup on The CW. This isn’t a bad thing for the series. Here’s what we know so far.
We’re used to All American being part of the fall TV lineup on The CW. That wasn’t the case in 2020, but that isn’t a bad thing for All American Season 3.
The season has been delayed, just like the majority of the usual suspects in the fall. The only regular show that premiered in the fall was Supernatural, and that was due to the final episodes of the series not airing in the 2019-2020 season. The Flash, Charmed, and more have been delayed.
So, what do we know about All American Season 3 so far? Let’s take a look at the premiere date, cast, trailer, and much more.
All American Season 3 premiere date
We don’t have a premiere date for All American Season 3 just yet. Don’t worry about it too much. The CW hasn’t set premiere dates for any of the January shows just yet.
January 2021 is the earliest we’ll see the high school football drama return to the network. There will likely be 16 episodes, just like previous seasons.
The show will keep it’s Monday night timeslot at 8/7c, followed by Black Lightning.
All American Season 3 cast
We’re expecting the majority of the cast to return. Daniel Ezra will be back as Spencer James, and we’ll see Taye Diggs back as Coach Billy Baker, Karimah Westbrook as Grace, and Jalyn Hall as Dillon
What we don’t know is whether Chad Coleman will return as Corey. The character died during the second season, something that Spencer had to deal with. We could see him return through flashbacks, though.
Keep a look out for the following returning, too:
Cody Christian as Asher
Greta Onieogou as Layla
Monét Mazur as Laura
Michael Evans Behling as Jordan
Samantha Logan as Olivia
Bre-Z as Coop
There is a cast member recently promoted to series regular. Netflix Life reports that Chelsea Tavares is going to be on the show full-time. That means a lot more Patience, and we can’t wait! What will this mean for her and Coop?
All American Season 3 trailer
There’s no trailer for All American Season 3 just yet. Production is just getting started after some positive COVID-19 tests on set. We’ll have to wait a little for the trailer for the season.
We’ll be sure to share the trailer here once we have it.
All American Season 3 synopsis
So, where will the season pick up? It should pick up off the back of the second season finale, even though we’ve had such a long break between the seasons.
The finale ended with Spencer struggled to deal with his father’s death, especially with the promise to play his senior football year at Crenshaw. Coach Billy even moved to Crenshaw to coach Spencer during this time, which will play on Spencer’s mind. Of course, this is all if Spencer’s shoulder injury doesn’t cause too many issues.
As for the other characters, Olivia is struggling with drug addition. Not only should the third season focus more on this, but also on developing her relationship with Spencer, who made it clear she’s not alone.
Olivia’s brother, Jordan, has started a relationship with Simone, which means plenty of ups and downs on the way. Mo wants revenge against Coop, but Patience being in the show more could upset the balance between them, there.
There’s a lot going on, and we can’t wait to see it all play out.
