Lili Reinhart’s new movie, Chemical Hearts, is just one of the new additions on Amazon Prime Video in August 2020. Here’s the full list.

There aren’t as many new releases on Amazon Prime Video as usual throughout August 2020. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to be excited about.

This month sees the release of Chemical Hearts, the Amazon Studios movie starring Lil Reinhart from Riverdale. She plays a new student who volunteers at the school newspaper, starting up a friendship and possible romance with a 17-year-old romantic who has never been in love.

For fans of The Boys, there’s the first episode of the after-show special coming. Hosted by Aisha Tyler, the after-show special is a chance to get more of the humor, the diabolical activities, and more from the cast and EPs. You’ll have to wait until the end of the month, but it’s worth it.

Our most highly recommend family movie for the month is Dora and the Lost City of Gold. It’s a live-action version of Dora the Explorer, bringing in everything kids love about the preschool series. It’s also has plenty of jokes and moments for the adults. It’s pretty easy to guess the storyline, but that’s not why you’re watching this movie! It’s all about the kids watching with you.
