The Amazon Originals are worth noting. Like on Prime Video in the U.S., the likes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Expanse, and The Aeronauts are heading our way during December. But they’re not the only shows and movies you’ll want to check out.
Dec. 1 sees plenty of excellent Christmas movies heading our way. Bad Santa is definitely something to check out if you want an adult comedy. Goliath‘s Billy Bob Thornton stars as a man who gets jobs as Mall Santas every year to run the greatest scams going.
For those who want a good rom-com, Four Christmases is coming to the service. Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon star as a couple who like to get away for Christmas to avoid their families. When they’re snowed in and caught out in a lie, they have to arrange trips to all four families over the holiday season.
Those who prefer some action and want to avoid the Christmas movies, the first two John Wick movies are heading to Amazon Prime Video Canada. This is a great sign that the third will eventually make its way. With Booksmart and Midsommar coming this month, maybe we’ll get to see John Wick 3 soon.
Something for the kids? New Year’s Eve will be a good night. Monsters vs. Aliens is heading to Prime Video Canada. Meanwhile, Gnomeo and Juliet heads our way at the start of the month.
