Absentia and more coming to Amazon Prime Video Canada in January 2020
Absentia Season 2, Treadstone, and much more are heading to Amazon Prime Video Canada in January 2020. Here’s the full list of top shows and movies.
While the U.S. got Absentia Season 2 earlier this year, Canadians have had to wait a little longer. It’s an excellent New Year gift for Amazon Prime Video Canada users. And there’s so much more.
We do need to touch on Absentia Season 2, though, a series that we know is bringing a third season to us. The second season picks up after Emily Byrne killed her abductor. She just wants to live a normal life and find a way to rebuild her relationship with Flynn, but it’s not going to happen. Emily can’t seem to shake her past.
Another show to look out for is Treadstone, which has aired a full season on USA Network. Unlike The Purge, we’ve had to wait for the full season to air to bring the entire season to Amazon Prime Video Canada. That does mean we have 10 episodes to check out from the first of the month.
If you’re looking for an excellent movie with a time-travel element, The Time Traveler’s Wife is one to check out during January. Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana star in this heartbreaking but beautiful movie. And for those looking for something for the entire family, Shrek is a movie not to miss.
Get ready for an excellent month of arrivals on Amazon Prime Canada.
