Amazon renews Hunters for a second season finally!

We’ve worried about Hunters after not hearing about it for a while. Amazon has finally confirmed Hunters is renewed for a second season.

Hands up if you loved Hunters. The Amazon series that followed a group of Nazi hunters in the 70s sent us on a wild ride. However, it’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything about it.

We started to get worried. Signs were pointing that the series had been quietly canceled. Yet, Amazon pleasantly surprised us on Aug. 3 with an official renewal. Hunters Season 2 is happening.

What can we expect in Hunters Season 2?

There isn’t much in the announcement from Deadline. We just know that the creators and EPs are back, which makes sense. There is nobody else who can tell this story.

The rest we can just guess based on how the first season ended. We were left with the surprise reveal that Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino) was not who he said he was. Jonah (Logan Lerman) had to make the difficult decision over whether to kill the man he thought was his grandfather or not.

The rest of the group was scattered. Some agreed to head to Europe, looking for more Nazis, but one in the group was taken without anyone else knowing. Joe is currently in Argentina and a prison or Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, who are certainly not dead!

It’s hard to call which storylines we’ll get a focus on. After all, there are many questions for all the characters we got to know, whether it’s who our Nazi-hunting nun really is or whether Joe will be able to get a message to the group. With so much going on, will the show be able to devote enough time to all of them?

The good news is that Hunters Season 2 is officially happening. That was the biggest hurdle to get over.
