While it wasn’t the worst of the broadcast networks for cancellations, there were a few. Here are all the cancelled CBS shows in 2022.
Some cancellations in 2022 certainly hurt more than others. The CW delivered the biggest bloodbath of the season, but there were other networks that delivered some bad news. CBS brought some disappointing news for fans of a couple of comedies and a rebooted crime drama.
There is one show that will be missing on this list. That’s because this one of the cancelled CBS shows in 2022 didn’t happen in May. It also technically isn’t a cancelled show as Michael Weatherly shared it felt like a good ending so it could be a show decision mixed with a network decision. Yes, we’re talking about Bull.

When it comes to comedies, we knew right away that three were safe. The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, and Ghosts were among the first renewals. However, not all comedies would make it.
United States of Al kicked off the disappointing news from CBS in May 2022. It was cancelled after just two seasons, just ahead of the Season 2 finale.
Another sophomore comedy that didn’t make it was B Positive. That show had already aired its Season 2 finale, which would have to work as a series finale.
Then there’s the freshman comedy How We Roll. The Pete Holmes comedy had only just started in 2022 and just couldn’t find its footing.
What about the dramas? Outside of Bull, there were two shows that have come to an end. The first was Magnum PI, which has been canceled after four seasons. It was a shocking decision considering its success on Friday nights, but CBS has had to make room for new dramas, and there weren’t many cancellations this year.
The other cancellation wasn’t all that surprising. Good Sam has come to an end after one season. The medical drama tried, but it failed to gain an audience. Putting it up against the successful Chicago PD probably wasn’t a good idea.
