As if the wait hasn’t been long enough, it continues. Carnival Row Season 2 is not on the list of Prime Video releases in August 2022.

August marks three years since the release of Carnival Row Season 1. It’s been a long wait for the second season. There’s no doubt that the pandemic caused a lot of the problems, but we had hoped to have the season by now. That’s especially the case considering Upload, The Wilds, and The Boys* have all managed to bring us new seasons.

The list of Prime Video releases in August 2022 is out, and we’re sad to say that Carnival Row is not on it. There is no end in sight for the show to return right now.

When could Carnival Row Season 2 air on Prime Video?

The only thing we know right now is that the second season is supposed to arrive sometime this year. The month or even the season hasn’t been shared. We’d hoped that August would be it to mark the three years since the premiere of the series.

Production is complete. The series is in post-production, and we know that editing fantasy shows takes a lot of time. In many cases, it can take eight months to a year to get it just right. Just look at how Upload Season 2 wrapped filming in April 2021 but it was March 2022 when it was ready to share.

Amazon will want to make a lot of noise about Carnival Row Season 2 when it is ready and has a release date. We’re expecting a weekly release to help create the buzz around the show each week, otherwise, it wouldn’t be surprising if the series is cancelled because people didn’t realize it was back.
