CBS Fall TV 2020: November premiere dates for NCIS, Young Sheldon, and more

November 2020 is shaping up to be a good month for fall TV. CBS is the latest network to set November premiere dates for its scripted shows.

Usually, September is the month to look forward to when it comes to fall TV. In 2020, it’s all about November. And it’s got nothing to do with politics. It’s all about scripted TV shows, with CBS being the latest network to set November premiere dates.

The Eye network has set premiere dates for 10 of its scripted shows, both comedy and drama. Young Sheldon Season 4 will kick everything off, with NCIS Season 18 being the last of the current lot. However, more premiere dates are going to be announced.

Comedy starts the new fall TV on CBS

It all starts with comedy on CBS. Get Nov. 5 in your diary, as Young Sheldon premieres its fourth season at 8/7c. That’s followed by the new series B Positive.

Mom Season 8 will then premiere. This is going to be without Anna Ferris, who made a surprise decision not to return to the show she’s headlined from the beginning.

After that, we moved into NCIS Sundays. NCIS: Los Angeles Season 12 kicks things off after the football, with NCIS: New Orleans Season 7 following. The latter will have a pandemic storyline, with Tammy and Carter heading to a ship to deal with a pandemic situation there. Meanwhile, Wade will deal with more bodies in the morgue than she’s used to.

SWAT, NCIS and more return

During the next week, SWAT Season 4 premieres. You’ll need to reset your DVR for one week, as the show will premiere at the unusual time of 9/8c. It’s a two-hour premiere, with the first hour focusing on the 1992 LA Riots.

The week after that sees the Monday night comedies return and All Rise. Then NCIS Season 18 will begin on Nov. 17, finishing up the latest premiere date releases. It means we know Episode 400 of the TV crime drama will air on Nov. 24.
