CBS renewal announcement: SEAL Team, NCIS, and more among the list
CBS has come out with a wave of renewals for 17 of its TV series, bringing its total to 23. Among the list are hit military drama SEAL Team, staple series NCIS, and many more.
A global pandemic may be upon us, but this has not stopped CBS from planning out its future. The network broadcasters have announced today the shows they are renewing for its 2020-2021 television season.
Among the list of renewals are tenure shows such as NCIS, which will now be going into its 18th season. We’ve also got Blue Bloods, which will be going into its 11th season.
Other, more minor shows in comparison to the big guns, such as SEAL Team and S.W.A.T. have also been given the green light to move forward with another season.
All Rise, Bob Hearts Abishola, and The Unicorn made it through as well. The freshman bubble shows were in danger, but CBS saw fit to see them through.
Of course, not every show can be renewed. Those who have received the chop include Broke, Tommy, and Carol’s Second Act.
