CBS has made some decisions about its shows. Is CSI: Vegas one of them? And is it good or bad news about its future?

CBS recently announced that seven of its shows would land new seasons. Three of them were scripted shows, with NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii on the list. There are a lot of great crime dramas, so which was the third show?

Will we get another season of the CSI revival? While the live ratings haven’t been the strongest, this is a series that has a huge following on Paramount+. Is it possible that the same could happen to this series as what happened to SEAL Team and the Criminal Minds revival? Could it move to the streamer instead? Or would it be canceled outright?

CSI: Vegas Season 3 is officially happening

There is some excellent news for fans of the series. CSI: Vegas Season 3 will officially happen. It was the third show on the list of those renewed.

As of right now, that’s all we know. We don’t have details of where it will move to in the 2023-2024 schedule. Those details will arrive in May when CBS confirms its fall schedule.

We do expect to see it remain in the fall. We’re just not sure if it will remain on Thursdays. It is possible that Blue Bloods could be canceled due to the cost of the show, and that could lead to the 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot opening up. Could this help to boost the live ratings for the CSI revival?
