CultureFly Supernatural spring 2021 mystery crate review

With pre-orders open for the summer box, you’ll want to see if it’s worth getting. Take a look at the Supernatural spring 2021 box from CultureFly.

Despite Supernatural coming to an end in November 2020, love for the series remains high. The Supernatural mystery crates from CultureFly sell out fast, and there’s no doubt the summer 2021 box ($) will too. If you’re on the fence for the box, you’ll want to check out the spring box.

That’s what this review is all about. It’s a chance to see what was inside the kitchen-themed box, helping you make a decision about the future boxes.

I’ll be honest and say that the Supernatural box isn’t my favorite for the season. I get this one, The Nick Box, and the World’s Finest Collection from CultureFly for the purpose of reviews. The World’s Finest Collection has been my favorite this season (I’ll bring The Nick Box review tomorrow), but that doesn’t mean the Supernatural box isn’t any good.

Take a look at all the items from the box. It is a kitchen theme, bringing some great baking items. To be honest, if I still baked as much as I used to, this box would be so much better. Baking isn’t a past time as much anymore, which will be why this box just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Now you’ve seen all the items, it’s time to break a few of them down. I’ll share what I loved and didn’t quite love from the spring 2021 box.

The clothing items

We’ll start with the clothing items. There are always some clothing items.

The first is a pair of socks, which are pretty simple but I have nothing bad to say about them. I’ve had socks in other boxes and they’ve always been good quality, so I’m expecting the same here.

The same applies to the T-shirt. It’s not my favorite color, but it fits well, and I know that the quality of the shirt is good. This will be a great item to wear on a regular basis. The image includes “saving people, hunting things,” and we all know that’s one of the best phrases from the entire series.

There is a wearable that’s slightly different to the norm. The box came with an apron, which is covered in some symbols from the show. I love the “well kids don’t try this at home” statement. It brings the humor of the series across with just that one line.

Kitchen items to use

There are a few good kitchen items in the box. They’re all connected to baking, with measuring spoons to start. They come on a little ring so there’s little chance of losing individual measuring spoons. What I love is that there’s a quarter tsp spoon, and it’s not often this is included in a set.

The cooling rack is the next item. It’s on the weaker side out of all the items with the metal relatively easy to bend. Of course, it’s for cooling baking goods, so nothing heavy will sit on the metal. I’m just worried that it might get bend while in storage.

There is also a cooling mat for pots and an oven glove. These two are some of my favorite items. You can never have too many cooling pads! While I don’t bake that much, I do still cook a lot for the kids. So, I need the pads to protect the surfaces. And my oven gloves are starting to let the heat in so I needed a new one. Like the wearable items, both of these items are good quality.

Other items from the box

Finally, there are a few items that I’m not all that bothered about. The first is the recipe notepad. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I tend to have all my recipes online now. And this recipe book is on the thin and flimsy side, so it’s not going to be the best for using when I am baking!

The charm is on the large side. It’s a burger charm, which matches the theme and Dean Winchester, but there’s no way I could put this on the charm bracelet. It’s a shame because this has been a consistent part of previous boxes I’ve really liked.

Finally, it’s the tote bag. You can never have too many bags, but this one feels on the thin side. I’m not sure how long it will last. However, it’s a good, reusable item.
