The first spoiler for the fall 2022 DC box from CultureFly is out. You’ll certainly want to get your pre-orders in with the theme.

It’s all about Dark Nights: Metal. CultureFly has certainly stepped up with the themes in the last 18 months or so. It looks like there is finally a step away from all the traditional Justice League members to cover more of the characters from the various comics.

Dark Nights: Metal is an event series from 2017 to 2018 written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo. We got Dark Batman and his team from the Dark Multiverse as they invaded Earth 0. So, that means Dark Batman, Dark Superman, Dark Wonder Woman, and more coming to this box.

While sometimes we get a spoiler that is very different to normal, most of the spoilers are the types of items we expect. That’s certainly the csae for this one.

It’s a pint glass, but it looks like it’s going to be plastic instead of glass. It’s really hard to tell with that image. I really hope that the print on it is more like the plastic cups with the lids and straws where it’s enclosed. The prints on the pint glass have never been that great for staying put after a few washes, and I don’t wash in the dishwasher.

Based on the comments, though, it’s a decal that is heated and printed on. That is going to be a shame. The quality for these needs to be better.

The glass itself will be great, though, I’m sure. All the glasses have lasted, but now most of them look plain or they have partial prints left on.
