Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils gets Easter premiere date
The second of the three Doctor Who specials has a premiere date. Get ready for Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils this Easter.
When we heard that Jodie Whittaker would leave Doctor Who, we also learned there would be three specials coming in 2022. The first of those arrived on New Year’s Day. It’s almost time for the second of the three specials.
Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils has an Easter weekend premiere date. That’s not surprising. The British love to do specials during big holiday weekends, and why not make the most of Easter weekend? It’s not like there’s going to be a lot else on as broadcast networks in the US try to avoid putting new content on around this weekend.
Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils release date
The special will air on Sunday, April 17. While it’s the BBC that has released the news, we’re expecting to see the same release date across the board. After all, in the U.S., BBC America airs the show. In Canada, the episodes will be on CTV Sci-Fi Channel and Crave as normal.
The special will see the Doctor, Yaz, and Dan join up once more. They’re coming up against the Sea Devils, one of the oldest adversaries of the Doctor. Madam Ching, a legendary pirate queen, is looking for a lost treasure and it’s all taking place in the 19th century. Oh, and expect to see Dan dressed up as a pirate, which going to be a lot of fun.
The third of the specials is coming in fall 2022.
