Doctor Who: What could be bigger than the Master?
Doctor Who is teasing something bigger than the Master, but what could that be? Well, we reckon it is one of four possibilities.
A brand-new episode of Doctor Who is on the way tonight and if you have been keeping tabs on social media then you will know that something big is coming. Apparently, it is so big that the Master’s return in the Season 12 premiere isn’t as big.
That’s a tall order to meet and while there is a lot of skepticism of whether this is even possible or not. There are four possible scenarios that we can think of that would top the Master’s return.

1. Doctor crossover
It was teased before Season 12 premiered that David Tennant would be making a return as The Tenth Doctor. Granted, it was only in comic book form, but you never know. Him showing up in a Doctor crossover type event would certainly take everyone by surprise.
2. Master crossover
Another big potential crossover is a Master crossover. Similar to when John Simm’s version of the Master and Michelle Gomez’s version of the Master came face to face during Peter Capaldi’s time as the Doctor. Maybe tonight’s surprise will be another Master crossover and maybe we’ll find out just how Sacha Dhawan’s Master came to be.

3. River Song returns
We’re pretty confident this won’t’ happen, but River Song returning and meeting The Thirteenth Doctor would be amazing. Any episode featuring River Song is amazing but having her meet a new version of the Doctor and seeing the dynamic change would just be on the edge of your seat god.
4. Older companion returns
Now, this one is the one I really think is likely to happen. I don’t know why, but I just feel this is the one. Having an older companion such as Rose Tyler or Donna would be epic!
