Elite Season 5 confirmed: Any date for Season 4 yet?

Let’s get the good news out of the way first. Netflix has renewed Elite for a fifth season. This is ahead of the Season 4 release, which is great news for those catching up or getting ready for the season. You can watch it without worrying about a cliffhanger ending. And you know this show does cliffhanger endings well.
TVLine doesn’t just report the renewal but also shares that Valentina Zenere and André Lamoglia will join the series. Their roles are unspecified as of yet, which isn’t surprising. Announcing their roles could lead to spoilers.
One thing that is clear is that Netflix quietly renewed this series early. It’s allowed writing to happen and some casting to take place. Quiet renewals are somewhat common to help reduce the wait between seasons. Early renewals are going to be necessary right now considering the delays due to the pandemic.
When will Elite Season 4 premiere?
Wait, while we have news about Elite Season 5, we have to ask about Season 4. Is there a premiere date yet?
When Netflix confirmed the renewal on Twitter, it also confirmed that Season 4 is coming…just not when. There isn’t a release date just yet, which is partly because of COVID. We should probably expect the fourth season to premiere sometime in 2021.

When will Elite Season 5 premiere?
It’s harder to call on the release of the fifth season. Assuming filming can get back to some sort of normality, even if it’s the new normal, there is hope that the fifth season will arrive sometime in 2022. It will likely be early 2023 at the latest.
Netflix’s early renewal will help to keep the wait for Season 5 to a minimum. Again, we’ll let you know as soon as we know something.
