There’s no doubt that we’re loving Ghosts on CBS. Is the series canceled or renewed? Will Ghosts Season 3 happen?
If you haven’t checked out Ghosts yet, you need to. The CBS comedy brings us all sorts of antics, and there’s no telling what else could happen. We’ve watched as Sam and Jay inherited a house to turn into a beautiful B&B, and now we’re seeing them attempt to build on that dream.
Will we get to see more? One of the things about Ghosts is that we need an early renewal. Writing needs to start early to allow production to start earlier than the summer. The characters can’t change their costumes, so filming needs to be in the warmer months in Montreal for the actors.
Ghosts Season 3 is officially happening
There is some great news. Ghosts Season 3 is officially happening at CBS. TVLine confirmed the great news.
To be honest, the renewal wasn’t that surprising. It is the second-most popular comedy on the network, just behind Young Sheldon. In the demo on average, it is the third-most popular scripted show on the network.
It’s also performing well when it comes to reruns. In fact, this is a popular show for CBS to pick when reruns are needed even on nights other than Thursdays.
The series is likely to remain in the fall schedule. Why move it when it’s been such a success for the network? We’re sure to see Young Sheldon renewed too unless the series itself is done, so we’ll likely see the 8 p.m. ET/PT to 9 p.m. ET/PT timeslot the same as this year.
