God Friended Me: One week to go until the finale, what can we expect?

God Friended Me

The season finale of God Friended Me is only a week away and the mysterious Henry Chase is due to appear. Will we finally learn who is behind the God Account?

This time next week, we will be getting ready for the season finale of God Friended Me. Miles, Cara, and Rakesh have been on an incredible journey, one they hoped would lead to them to who is behind the God Account.

Will the finale be the moment where we finally learn the truth?

Well, everything has pointed to either Simon Hayes or Henry Chase being the one behind the God Account. God Friended Me introduced Simon Hayes a couple of episodes ago and Rakesh has been doing his very best to figure out if his secret project is indeed the God Account. Unfortunately, it has been to no avail.

Henry Chase is still MIA, but a report from TV Line at the end of March revealed how God Friended Me would be introducing Henry Chase in the season finale. Derek Luke, who is best known for his time in 13 Reasons Why, has been cast in the role.

So, can we take this as a sign we will get the answer we all seek? Who is behind the God Account? Will it be answered?

Honestly, I don’t think so. With the series coming back for a Season 2, I think it is more likely we will be left on a cliffhanger of some sorts with more questions rather than answers.

How will they do it? I’m not sure. Your guess is as good as mine really. I just can’t see it being a straight forward answer though, “Henry Chase is behind the God Account job done!” It just wouldn’t set anything up for Season 2.
