Did Grace and Judd survive 9-1-1: Lone Star?
We all had one question for the 9-1-1: Lone Star spring premiere. Would Grace and Judd survive their truck plunging in the water?
At the end of the 9-1-1: Lone Star winter finale, we watched Judd and Grace plunge into the water below the bridge in their truck. It was clear from the promo that lives would be on the line. The terrifying thing was only seeing Grace fighting for her life. There was no Judd in the promo.
The good news for many was that Judd did survive the crash. After realizing that Grace was trapped in the truck, he chose to go underwater with her. He wasn’t leaving her to die alone. However, he woke in the hospital to find out that Grace had been out for four minutes but was currently alive. She just hadn’t woken up yet.
Judd knew there was a chance that his wife wouldn’t wake up. It didn’t matter that Tommy wanted him to remain positive. He struggled with the guilt that he drove into the water, and then he struggled to contain the anger at the drunk driver who nearly hit them, causing Judd to swerve. Just as it looked like he’d kill the drunk driver, Owen and Grace’s dad got to him. Grace was awake.

Grace and Judd got surprising news on 9-1-1: Lone Star
Grace did survive. By the looks of it, she’s mostly going to be okay. However, she did say that she couldn’t feel her legs.
Naturally, Judd worried about that. So did Grace, to be fair. It would be a worry for many, wondering whether that feeling would come back. The doctor confirmed it would. This type of loss of feeling was normal. The doctor didn’t seem concerned about it at all.
Instead, the doctor had some good news for the favorite 9-1-1: Lone Star couple. Grace is pregnant.
Yes, just as the two were starting a conversation about having children, the Ryders find out they’re expecting. There’s no doubt this is great news.
