The Station 19 Season 6 finale brought us one confirmed death and one potential one. Is Grey Damon leaving the series?
Caution: This post contains major spoilers from the Station 19 Season 6 finale.
In the promo for the Station 19 Season 6 finale, we knew we might lose a fan-favorite character. There was an incident in the room rented for the firefighter ball, and the floor of the ballroom collapsed. We had to wait until the end to find out if we would end up losing any of our favorite characters.
In the end, Michael Dixon died. It’s not like his loss is going to be missed. He routinely proved to be a thorn in the firefighters’ side, despite being the former fire chief. It looked like it was going to be it until Travis went to thank Jack for saving his life.
Jack Gibson had collapsed. His life was left on the line as the finale came to an end.
Will Grey Damon be in Station 19 Season 7?
There are currently no signs that Grey Damon is leaving the series. That doesn’t mean he won’t. It’s not uncommon for shows to leave us with no news in the summer months about returning characters. This is the best way to keep us on the edge with cliffhangers so we tune in when the shows return.
The bad news is we have a long wait on our hands. ABC will not bring any scripted shows back in fall 2023. It’s a full unscripted slate due to the writers strike. It doesn’t even matter if the writers return in time for filming to start in July to bring us fall episodes. ABC is planning for the worst, which is probably the right thing to do this year.
So, we have to wait until 2024 to find out whether Jack will survive or not.
