When is Grey’s Anatomy back in 2021?

Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 is on an extended winter break. How long will it be before new episodes air on ABC in 2021?

While many network TV shows will return in January 2021, Grey’s Anatomy is on an extended break. How long until it returns? We’re waiting a few months.

Filming hasn’t been able to run as smoothly as it usually would. Extra protocols and an extended break as the coronavirus cases in L.A. continue to soar have caused the filming of episodes to take longer than usual.

This has been the case with all TV shows. That’s why many of the fall shows have had weeks off between episodes to allow for things to catch up. It’s why some shows took a break from November until January. ABC has opted for a break from December until March.

Yes, March. That’s when Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 7 will air.

The good news is we have an exact date.

When will Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 7 air on ABC?

We have to wait until Thursday, Mar. 4, 2021.

Yes, it seems like a long way away. One Chicago and The Blacklist fans will know exactly how you feel. They have had to wait for new episodes since November. In fact, fans of shows on FOX and The CW will definitely know how you feel because they didn’t even have new episodes in the fall.

But at least we have a date. There is an end to the hiatus in sight.

It doesn’t sound like there will be a problem bringing the show back on time despite not returning to production on time. The March episode would have likely already been filmed. The show will try to stay a couple ahead of whatever episode they’re on.

The problem was that not enough episodes were in the bag to bring the show back in January. However, once the show returns in March 2021, there will hopefully be no more breaks until whenever the end of the season is.
