Need more dragons in your life? Of course you do. The great news is House of the Dragon Season 2 is happening at HBO.

There is no doubt that we’re ready to see more dragons. We’re also ready for more bloodshed and in-House fighting. There are still nine episodes of House of the Dragon Season 1 to air, and now we know that it won’t be the end.

HBO has confirmed House of the Dragon Season 2 is happening, according to TVLine. What does this mean for the story?

What will House of the Dragon Season 2 be about?

There aren’t any details about the second season. That’s not too surprising considering we’re still weeks away from the Season 1 finale. Why would anyone want to give spoilers to how the first season will end? We all know Game of Thrones fans do not want spoilers.

At first, there were suggestions that the series could be an anthology series. After all, we’ve picked up Fire & Blood* part way through. However, the report about the renewal doesn’t suggest an anthology. This could be just to avoid confirming if Daemon, Rhaenrya, and Viserys’s storylines will end within 10 episodes or not, but it does seem impossible to cover the entire storyline in one season.
