Don’t you just love it when a show acknowledges its long wait between seasons? That’s what Invincible Season 2 does.

Every now and then, a TV show will break the fourth wall. Invincible has done that with its latest teaser for the second season. It acknowledges just how long fans have waited for any sort of news about the series.

Mark shares what he’s been doing in all this time while we wait for new episodes. Really, it’s about what voice star Steven Yuen has been up to that whole time, and he is a busy man. Plus, the creation of animation takes a long time, so it not surprising that we’ve had to wait for it.

The good news is we’re getting closer to the second season. The show has already been renewed for a third season, so hopefully we won’t need to wait as long for that one.

When is Invincible Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

We still don’t have an exact date for the release. That wasn’t for a lack of trying to get a date out of Mark. All he shares is that the “world will get a little more Invincible in late 2023.”

We can work with that.

That could mean any time from September onward. It gives us something to look forward to by the end of the year. It’s not the only Prime Video show we’re waiting for, but it is one of the most highly anticipated. The first season was just so good!

This is certainly the type of teaser we’re here for, though. It gives us the information that we need, and it picks up with some of the storylines that were left open at the end of the first season. What it doesn’t give us is major spoilers. It doesn’t tell us of any of the new characters, and focuses only on the one thing fans want to know right now: the return of the show.
