Is 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 happening?

Our eyes are on the futures of our favorite TV shows, and 9-1-1: Lone Star is on our list. Is 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 happening?

Considering the success of the first season, it was never surprising that the show was renewed. It has managed to capture the high-energy and craziness of the call-outs of the original series, although it does need a little more work when it comes to developing some of the characters.

That being said, it’s still one of the best dramas on TV. For FOX, it’s one of the highest-rated dramas, which is why it’s crazy that the network hasn’t renewed the series yet.

9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 isn’t officially happening yet. However, it hasn’t been canceled either.

Will 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 happen at FOX?

What are the chances of a renewal? We’d say pretty good, so we’re not really sure why FOX hasn’t renewed it as of writing this.

9-1-1: Lone Star is the second best-rated drama on FOX in terms of both the audience and demo, according to TV Series Finale. While the live ratings aren’t the only consideration, they’re a heavy one. And strong live ratings usually mean a show is going to be renewed. And it’s not like the writers are going to run out of story ideas!

It’s possible that FOX just hasn’t made decisions about any of the dramas yet. They were all held for the midseason, delaying a few things for the network due to the pandemic. We hoped to get good news during the midseason break, but so far nothing.

We’ll be sure to bring you word as soon as 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s renewal is confirmed, because we’re sure it’s happening.
