As we get closer to season finales airing, we need to know if there’s more to come. 9-1-1 Season 5 is a renewal we’re all looking for.

How is it possible that FOX’s No. 1 drama has still not been renewed? As of right now, 9-1-1 has not been renewed for a fifth season. The good news is that the show hasn’t been canceled.

This has to be a mistake, right? Surely FOX isn’t going to make us say goodbye to the 118! There is far too much to love about this series.

Will 9-1-1 Season 5 happen at FOX?

It’s possible that it’s all to do with negotiations. That seems to make the most sense when you consider that FOX has renewed or canceled the majority of its current scripted lineup.

It seems unlikely that 9-1-1 Season 5 won’t happen. After all, it is the No. 1 scripted show on the network in terms of both the audience and the demo when it comes to the live ratings, according to TV Series Finale. It starts off the week just right (well, if you count Monday as the start of the week like us!) and is a show that many people look forward to.

There’s just the right amount of high-energy calls and emotional connection to the characters to make this series a fan favorite. We just can’t imagine the week without it.

Things have been mixed up this year, which could also cause a delay. After all, the show didn’t premiere until January rather than in the fall due to the pandemic. FOX could be looking at opting for something similar next year, which allows for a delay in the renewal. We just hope it comes sooner rather than later!
