CBS’s hottest new comedy Ghosts wrapped its first season on April 21. Would that be a series finale? Is Ghosts canceled?

It’s always bittersweet saying goodbye to a series for a season. We have a long wait for new episodes after getting connected to a bunch of characters. That is certainly the case for Ghosts, a series that has so many excellent characters to learn about.

With some shows, it can be nerve-wracking getting to the end of the season. We don’t necessarily know if we’re going to get more episodes. What’s the case with this comedy?

Is Ghosts canceled?

Is the Season 1 finale the series finale? There is some great news for fans of the series. The finale was not the end.

CBS renewed the comedy back in January 2022 along with two other comedies on the network. This wasn’t that surprising considering the success of the series in the live ratings immediately. We were certainly glad to see that CBS saw the success in the way we did.

The question now is when the episodes will return. This is where we have a little bit of bad news. We just don’t have a date yet, and we’re probably not going to get a return date until around June or July 2022. However, filming is set to start in the summer, starting earlier than most broadcast shows due to the harsh winters in Montreal, Canada, according to Deadline.
