You’ve binged your way through the first season, and now you want to see what’s next for Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah, Steven, and the others. Is The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 happening?

There was a lot happening in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 1. This started as a series focused on one girl who finds herself attracted to two brothers. There was much more going on, though. Belly had to figure out her heart while gaining independence. Conrad shut himself away as he dealt with the secret his mom was keeping, and then everyone learned the truth about Susannah and the fact that she wouldn’t be around for much longer.

Now we want to see what’s next. That means we need a second season, but has Prime Video ordered it?

Is The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 going to happen?

There is some excellent news. This isn’t a series we’re waiting to hear about. Prime Video renewed The Summer I Turned Pretty for a second season ahead of the show’s release.

Considering the success of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before* and the other movies in the series on Netflix, that’s not too surprising. The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on a book trilogy written by the same author, Jenny Han. It’s more than just another teen drama, but brings in a lot of topics about love, heartbreak, life, and death.

There isn’t a date for the second season yet. We’re looking at summer 2023 for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2.
