We are most definitely excited to see Tim Burton’s Wednesday series on Netflix. Rumor has it that it’s coming in November 2022. Is that going to be the case?

When it comes to reboots and revivals, we’re always excited to see something involving The Addams Family. Even the animated movies that people didn’t initially think were necessary proved to be great fun. Now it’s time for another series that’s focused solely on one of the best characters of the whole family: Wednesday.

Jenna Ortega will play the elder child of Morticia and Gomez Addams. Christina Ricci is involved in some way, which is great news for those who loved the 1990s movies*. Now we just need to know when the series will arrive.

Could Wednesday come to Netflix in November?

We know that the series will arrive sometime in the fall. It’s not on the list of September releases, but if we’re honest, October would make a better month. The Addams Family is all about spooky, and what better time of year than Halloween?

However, on Aug. 31, the Fall Preview Hub for Netflix Tudum shared that the series would arrive in November. That’s still the fall, so we can accept it. Then shortly after that, the series was removed from the list of November releases and put back in the “coming this fall” releases.

Does that mean November was wrong? We’re not sure about that. After all, The Crown is also down as “coming this fall,” but we’d already heard a November release month earlier this year. It’s not like Netflix hasn’t given us the right date and then taken it away quickly. Just look at what it did with Manifest Season 4 this summer. So, we’re looking at November for the release of the Tim Burton series.
