The Blacklist Season 9 brought us some cast departures. Who is leaving and who is returning in The Blacklist Season 10? What about Laura Sohn?

Laura Sohn joined The Blacklist in the seventh season as Alina Park. She entered as a recurring guest star and was upped to series regular in the eighth season. She’s stuck around through the eight and ninth seasons, where we picked up years after Liz Keen’s death to find out that Park struggled in the personal relationship department.

Now we’re at the end of the ninth season. There is a 10th happening, but it will be a couple of characters short. Deadline reports that Amir Arison isn’t the only person leaving the series.

Laura Sohn will not be in The Blacklist Season 10

It turns out that the next season is going to be Park-less. Sohn will not return to the show, and this was confirmed in the Season 9 finale.

During the finale, Park announced that she’s pregnant. We knew from the flashbacks during the season that Park had struggled with fertility. The idea of being pregnant again would be scary, but that’s not the only reason she’s taking some time off.

She’s also been seeing a neurologist for headaches. So far, there isn’t a known cause and the headaches have gotten worse recently. So, her doctors have suggested she take medical leave, and that’s just what she’s going to do.

All we know is that Sohn is leaving the series to pursue other projects. There is nothing lined up right now unlike Arison, who is leaving for a stint on Broadway.
