NBC has made a decision about a few shows on its network, and the Law & Order revival is one of them. Will there be a Season 23?

As we get closer to the end of the current TV series, we start to look at whether shows are going to be canceled or renewed. Law & Order is one of those shows. The revival became an instant hit, picking straight up from where things ended when the show was originally canceled. Does NBC agree that the series could continue?

NBC has made a decision about the six Dick Wolf shows on Wednesdays and Thursdays. What is the decision about the revival series?

Law & Order Season 23 is officially happening

Oh yes, it’s official. Law & Order Season 23 is going to happen. NBC agrees that this is a show that needs to remain on the air. That’s not surprising with how popular Thursday nights are.

The show will have the usual 22 episodes. This suggests that the series will be part of the fall 2023 schedule. NBC has not confirmed this just yet, but it’s unusual for a 22-episode season in the midseason. We’ll know more about this in May when the NBC Upfronts Presentation takes place.
