LEGO Masters Season 4 hasn’t even premiered, and FOX has already offered an update about its future. Will there be a fifth season?

LEGO Masters will return for its fourth season at the end of the month. Even if the show wasn’t popular, it would end up being aprt of the fall lineup this year. There is no scripted programming outside of animation due to the current strike action with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA, so unscripted is the way the networks are going.

The good news for fans is that this show is popular. Who doesn’t love the intricate builds that these adults make when it comes to using LEGO. The toy may be something for kids, but there’s no doubt that adults still love it.

Of course, we want more. The question is whether FOX agrees that there should be more or not.

LEGO Masters Season 5 is officially happening

FOX is getting a head start with renewals this year. There are a few reasons to bring early renewals for unscripted shows, and one of them is just the fact that this show is popular. FOX likely knows that the fourth season is going to be something for people to tune into, especially in a world without scripted originals.

This renewal could also help with a potentially empty 2023–2024 season. The strike is still going on, and it needs to come to an end by Oct. 1 if the scripted programming is going to end at the regular time. We could see a midseason also made up of acquisitions, unscripted content, and streaming shows airing on linear networks. FOX may be pre-empting that by getting the fifth season in production in case it’s needed.

However, the plan, according to Deadline, is to air the season in the 2024–2025 season. We’ll see if those plans need to change.
