Nancy Drew Season 3 will premiere in October 2021
Are you ready to see what’s next for the Drew Crew? Of course you are! Nancy Drew Season 3 will premiere on The CW in October 2021.
The Nancy Drew Season 2 finale left us with some big questions. Temperance Hudson has broken through the barrier and made it to Horseshoe Bay. We have no idea what she wants, but it can’t be anything good considering her story. However, we have to wait for Season 3 to find out more.
Fortunately, we got into the finale knowing that Nancy Drew Season 3 would happen. In fact, we knew that Season 3 would happen long before the finale aired. The CW made a mass renewal announcement back in February 2021, surprising everyone.
Now our eyes are on when the premiere will be. The CW has announced that.
When is the Nancy Drew Season 3 premiere on The CW?
Nancy Drew is the first of the scripted shows to premiere in fall 2021. We’re not waiting until 2022.
In fact, the series is the only one that will premiere at around the usual time for The CW. Most falls, The CW has premiered shows in the first full week of October. We had wondered if that could be the case in 2021 considering the delayed finales for many of the shows. We also wondered if The CW had looked at changing up the schedule completely following some big successes with new shows in January 2021.
That’s not the case at all. It looks like the network is trying to get back to the traditional cycle, and it all starts with Nancy Drew Season 3. It will premiere on Friday, Oct. 8 at 9/8c.
It’s common to worry about a show’s move to Friday nights. This could actually be good for the series’s future. We’ve seen shows like Supernatural move to Fridays and then back to the mid-week, and Dynasty and Charmed have remained on the air due to a not-so-bad performance on Fridays. We could see the same for Nancy Drew.
