NBC fall 2021 premiere dates: One Chicago, Ordinary Joe, and more

Waiting for the One Chicago shows to come back? Want to check out new shows like Ordinary Joe? Here are the NBC fall 2021 premiere dates to get in your diary.

NBC has released premiere dates for the fall 2021 schedule. The great news for fans of shows is that most of the dates are in September 2021. The plan is to get back to filming this summer as normal.

We all know what the last TV season was like. We had to wait until November at the earliest for most of our favorite shows, and that led to an on-off schedule due to further delays in filming. However, productions have their protocols in place and there’s a good chance that we’ll see the start of normality again.

Now you just want to know when your favorite shows are returning. There are some changes already to the NBC fall 2021 schedule, though.

Law & Order: For the Defense no longer happening

For those who were excited for another Law & Order series, there’s some disappointing news. NBC has decided not to go ahead with For the Defense. The series was supposed to kick off Thursday nights, bringing us a full Law & Order Thursday.

Instead, The Blacklist is going to move from Fridays to Thursdays. It’s going to see odd after three seasons on Fridays, but it’s going to be exciting to have a full Thursday of crime dramas. We’re waiting a while for this, though. The Blacklist is the only fall show on NBC not premiering in September.

There are a couple of new shows heading to the network, still. Ordinary Joe and La Brea are the two to look out for this fall. You’ll see there are still no comedies in the lineup.

Other than that, the schedule is as planned, according to Deadline. Let’s take a look at all the premiere dates.
