You know what’s coming to Netflix U.S., but what about Netflix Canada? Here’s everything on its way in October 2020.

You already know what’s heading to Netflix U.S. That doesn’t help people in other parts of the world. As we’re in Canada, we want to make sure Canadians are covered with their streaming needs, especially when it comes to Netflix Canada.

October 2020 will see a lot of the same Netflix Originals. Expect The Haunting of Bly Manor, The Queen’s Gambit, and even Emily in Paris. But what about other new releases during the month?

What’s new to the streaming service that’s not in the U.S.?

There is one notable release that is different to the U.S. The Alienist: Angel of Darkness is heading to Netflix Canada during October. It’s the sequel to The Alienist, this time bringing a story of someone who is killing babies. The team comes back together at the request of Sara to figure out the case.

At the start of the month, there’s the perfect offering for families. The Wizard of Oz is going to be on the streaming service. It’s not clear how long for, but most additions like this are only for a month, so make sure you go on the journey down the yellow brick road right away.

Another family movie that celebrates differences and dreams is Billy Elliot. Jamie Bell stars as Billy, who just wants to dance. However, the movie is set in 1980s Yorkshire at the time of the miners’ strike, and there’s no way his dad wants to admit his son loves to do ballet.

This is your last chance to watch the first two Back to the Future movies on Netflix Canada. They’re leaving at the end of the month so get the kids around the TV and reminisce over one of the best movie trilogies of all time.
