Enola Holmes and more coming to Netflix in September 2020

Enola Holmes is just one of the new releases on Netflix in September 2020. Here’s everything arriving and everything leaving.

We’ve got an exciting month of new Netflix releases in September 2020. It’s time to look at everything arriving and, of course, the last call for titles on the streamer.

Enola Holmes is one of the big releases. The movie focuses on Sherlock Holmes’s sister (yes, he has a sister), who is also a great detective. Of course, set in the 19th century, it’s not going to be as easy for her to prove herself as it is for her brothers. The movie stars Millie Bobby Brown in the lead role, with Henry Cavil playing Sherlock. Sam Claflin and Helena Bonham Carter also star.

Another Netflix movie to look out for is Away, starring Hilary Swank. It’s one of the earlier releases on the streaming service, focusing on Emma Green, an astronaut set to lead a crew on the first Mars mission. She will leave her husband and teenage daughter behind when they need her the most, which won’t sit well in her gut. It’s an emotional space story that is worth checking out.

Fans of American Horror Story will want to tune in for Ratched. Sarah Paulson stars as the iconic fictional nurse, telling the story of how she became the villain that she eventually did. We look at her seeking employment in a psychiatric hospital that isn’t afraid to carry out some questionable experiments.

Third-party content and everything leaving Netflix

That’s just about the Netflix Originals heading to the streamer. What about the third-party content coming to the streamer? The first of the month sees the arrival of all three Back to the Future movies again, perfect for your binge-watch to celebrate the 35th anniversary this year.

All eight seasons of Girlfriends will also arrive on the streamer during the month. And don’t miss out on the arrival of Greenleaf Season 5.

As for exits, the big one is going to be all seven seasons of Once Upon a Time. There’s still a little time to binge-watch while we wait for wherever it’s going next. Another notable exit is Christopher Robin, which is a heartfelt live-action that the whole family will love. The Witch is also leaving for those who haven’t seen the horror movie yet.
