The Boys has come to an end for another season. The good news is there will be a fourth season, but when is it going to happen?

We start with the bad news. The Boys Season 3 has come to an end. Friday’s episode was the season finale, and that means we have a wait on our hands. At least we don’t get another season. Prime Video has already confirmed that there’s going to be a fourth season of the show.

The renewal isn’t too surprising. After all, this series is one of Prime Video’s top releases, and the third season has not been a disappointment. Now we just need to know when we’ll get new episodes.

When will The Boys Season 4 premiere on Prime Video?

We are looking at the series getting another hybrid release. That will mean the first three episodes dropping at once, and then the rest of the episodes coming weekly. With so much packed into the show, it’s only right that it gets more time to be on everyone’s radar.

What we don’t know is when all that is going to start. Production hasn’t even started on the series yet, so we’re not expecting it any time soon.

Prime Video shows usually take around 14 months between seasons. That wasn’t the case during the pandemic, but that was an odd time of year with production shutdowns. There’s no need for production shutdowns now as we see most of the filming world returning to some sort of normalcy. That means we should see a return to a 14-month wait between seasons. The most we’ve seen between seasons of most shows in 18 months (and we’re not looking at that wait for The Man in the High Castle Season 3!).

So, with that in mind, we’re looking at around August 2023 or September 2023 as a premiere date for The Boys Season 4. We may have to wait until the end of the year, but we don’t envision having to wait until 2024.
