Only Murders in the Building is certainly a fun and wild ride. Will we get to see more of the series? Is Season 2 happening?

We’re just five episodes in, but we’re hooked on Only Murders in the Building. This is one of those shows that has kept us entertained from the opening moments. We need to know who killed Tim Kono, and it looks like we’re getting a step closer.

However, what about when the season comes to an end? Is this a show only planned for one season? The good news is that it wasn’t promoted as a limited series, so we’re just waiting on a renewal. There’s excellent news where that is concerned.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 is officially happening

Charles, Oliver, and Mabel will return to solve another crime. At least, we’re assuming it’s to solve another crime and not that Tim Kono’s murder will continue into a second season. Only Murders in the Building Season 2 is officially happening at Hulu.

TVLine shared the exciting news about the renewal. The series was Hulu’s most-watched comedy on premiere date. Hulu also says it was the most-watched comedy on all SVOD platforms, although platforms don’t exactly share their data. It’s hard to verify that one.

All we know is that Only Murders in the BUilding has been a hit with Hulu. The streamer has picked it up for a second season without even waiting to see how fans react to the ending. If there is a cliffhanger, we can now go into it without fear. However, we’re hoping that the finale will wrap up this case and we’ll see the trio handle a new case for a second season of their podcast.

We’re now at the halfway mark of the season. There are 10 episodes, and we’re expecting 10 episodes in the second season. There isn’t a release date plan for Season 2 just yet, but we’re looking at summer 2022 at the earliest.
