Outlander gave us a wonderful Thanksgiving gift. It’s all about the Outlander Season 6 opening credits, which bring another change.

We’re no stranger to the Outlander credits changing. Every season we’ve heard something different. In fact, some seasons have multiple changes based on location changes.

Just look back at how Season 2 had the French themes and the end of Season 3 had the Jamaican themes. When the show moved to the Colonies, we got a sense of the time period with the opening credits.

Not everyone likes all the changes. I couldn’t stand the fifth season changes to the point where I’d skip through the credits each episode. It’s not often I do that because I love seeing the names pop up to find out who is going to be in the episodes. However, the change to the song just didn’t work for me.

Outlander Season 6 is very different. This one I will listen to every episode.

Outlander Season 6 opening credits

Take a look at the opening credits for the season. There are two voices this time. Raya Yarbrough is still the female voice you hear. Griogair Labhruidh is the male voice.

The lyrics have changed. This does suggest that one of the men in the show is going to get a little more time and development, and my betting is Roger considering he’s the only known male time traveler in the main cast.

The credits also give us clips from the upcoming season. There are a few things that stand out, such as the matches. It looks like we’ll finally get to see Brianna step up as an engineer after the success with the snake fang becoming a syringe for the penicillin. We’ll also see Roger as a minister as there are a couple of clips that focus on that.

There is the moment with the horses racing across the beach. We can’t see exactly who is there, but it looks like Jamie leading from the front. There seem to be two Native Americans at the back. One could be Young Ian, but there is a clip of another Native American in the opening credits. Who is that going to be?
