If there’s one series we’ve absolutely adored, it’s Peacemaker. Will we get a second season? Here’s everything we know.

Peacemaker is a brilliant series. It has some excellent characters, a perfect storyline, and hilarious moments throughout. So, when we heard that James Gunn was confident in getting a second season, we couldn’t help but smile.

HBO Max has now confirmed the fate of the series. It’s goooooood!

Peacemaker Season 2 is happening at HBO Max

We actually learned early on Wednesday, Feb. 16 that there was some good news to come. John Cena and James Gunn both took to Twitter to share the exciting news that the series was being renewed.

Deadline later confirmed it, bringing extra news about the second season. Gunn is writing and directing all eight episodes of the second season. Don’t “fix” something that isn’t broken, right?

With the events of the season finale, we’re certainly invested with a lot of questions. Don’t worry; no spoilers here. We’ll bring a separate post for that!

There is also going to be another Suicide Squad spin-off based on another one of the characters. We still don’t know who that is, but we’re excited after the success of Peacemaker.
