Prodigal Son Season 2, Episode 6 spoilers: Will Ainsley learn the truth?

Ainsley is getting closer to the truth. Will it all come out on Prodigal Son Season 2, Episode 6? The promo may give us a hint.

Ainsley is going to eventually find out the truth. That’s just the way TV shows work. Malcolm is doing all this work to protect her that it’s all likely to unravel.

Chances are Ainsley isn’t going to like having the secret kept from her. Who does? She won’t want people protecting her with secrets and lies, especially when she’s been the one keeping everyone together for so long.

It’s not exactly clear from the promo that Ainsley will find out, but it does tell us that a shocking twist is coming at the end. And we know this is one of those shows that does twists well. Prodigal Son always has something to keep us on the edge. Also, Jessica and Martin both say that Ainsley needs to learn the truth, but are they telling Malcolm, are they in Malcolm’s head, or do they really believe this?

It’ll need it, too. Prodigal Son Season 2, Episode 6 is going to be the last episode of February. Due to filming delays, everyone needs to get caught up, so Episode 7 isn’t going to air until March 2. It’ll be worth the wait.

For now, check out the promo for Episode 6:

Malcolm is stuck in his head on Prodigal Son Season 2, Episode 6

The promo certainly makes it look like we’re getting a one-off episode that is sure to send us down a wacky road. After Malcolm is pushed down an elevator shaft, he’s knocked unconscious. Inside his mind we go.

Reality and imagination are blending together. We’ll get to see Lou Diamond Phillips’s Gil as the one in Claremont. Does this hint that Malcolm looks at Gil as a father figure? He’s certainly been a father figure for both Dani and JT, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Malcolm looked up to him, too.

Meanwhile, Martin is home with Jessica. They’re certainly not the Martin and Jessica Whitly we know, but what has high society done to them without the scandal of Martin’s arrest. And is it possible that Martin is still killing in this world? Maybe Gil was somehow framed in this world.

These types of episodes are always fun, especially when we go into the mind of someone like Malcolm. We know his nightmares can be over the top and weird, so it makes sense his dreams while being unconscious are the same.
