With the cliffhanger ending to the Quantum Leap Season 1 finale, all eyes are now on when Quantum Leap Season 2 will premiere.

Quantum Leap Season 1 has come to an end, and it left us with a few questions. While a lot of the major questions from the beginning of the series were answered, we have a major one still in the air about Ben. Will he get back home?

The good news is this isn’t like the OG series*. The show has been renewed, so Ben isn’t stuck in time for good. At least, not for right now. The bad news is we have a bit of a wait to get some answers.

When is the Quantum Leap Season 2 premiere?

NBC has not confirmed when the premiere will happen just yet. That’s not surprising. The May Upfronts haven’t happened yet. This is when the fall schedule is confirmed.

We do expect to see the show to return in the fall. We also expect to see it remain on Mondays following new episodes of The Voice. The timeslot worked well for the time-traveling series.

NBC tends to premiere fall shows at the end of September. That’s what we’re expecting to see here as usual.

The great news is production has already started on the second season. Since it got a December renewal, the writing team got straight to the drawing board. The show has filmed up to Episode 4 at the time of writing this, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. With the potential writer’s strike coming in May, this is great news as it means there’s at least one show that can premiere in the fall still.
