Raised By Wolves is heading to HBO Max soon. Not only do we have a release date, but we also have the first-look trailer for the Ridley Scott series.

If you love sci-fi and you’re a fan of Ridley Scott movies, then you’ll want to pay attention to this. Raised By Wolves is heading to HBO Max next month. Not only do we have a release date, but we also get a first-look trailer.

HBO Max has been relatively quiet with its new releases. However, each HBO Max Original it has brought out has killed it. There’s no doubt that there is a lot of anticipation for this upcoming series.

There isn’t long to wait for this one. The series will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020. Unlike Netflix and Amazon, HBO Max has been working with Thursday release dates. There are 10 episodes of the series, but it’s not clear if this is a limited series or there will be more to come after. The release will likely be one episode per week, unlike Love Life‘s multi-episode per week release.

What is Raised By Wolves?

Before we get into the trailer, let’s look at what the show is about. Set in a futuristic world where the Earth was destroyed, people have moved to another planet. Two androids are tasked with taking human children to a new planet and raising them there. However, to help keep the peace, the androids need to figure out how to control human beliefs, as religious differences threaten to cause destruction again.

What happens when you control human beliefs? That’s something the androids find out. And can these two androids even be trusted?

This is Ridley Scott’s TV series directorial debut for American audiences. Considering he’s brought us The Martian and Gladiator, we’re not that worried. In fact, we’re excited.
