Who is replacing Jaegar on FBI International Season 2?
It certainly felt like a goodbye to Christiane Paul’s Jaegar in the FBI International Season 1 finale. Now we know she isn’t returning. Who will be the Europol agent working with the Fly Team in FBI International Season 2?
There was always a small chance that Jaegar would find her way back to Europol in FBI International Season 2. However, that would have made the beautiful send-off in the Season 1 finale feel a little empty. TVLine reports that Christiane Paul is leaving the series after just one season, and we love the goodbye Jaegar received.
The Fly Team needs a member of Europol working with them, though. We saw with Jaegar that she would often be the reason the Fly Team was able to do its job to protect American citizens. She found a way to make the local authorities think they were in charge when they really weren’t.
Eva-Jane Willis will join for FBI International Season 2
There will be a new Europol agent working with the team. Eva-Jane Willis is joining the show as Megan “Smitty” Garretson. She is described as being a streetwise agent with experience working undercover.
It’s not clear if she has any previous connection to the Fly Team just yet. Maybe she knows one of the team members. With any hope, Jaegar got the chance to debrief Smitty about the various members and the best way to work with Forrester.
There are no signs of other cast members leaving just yet. Of course, we’ve been thrown off with FBI Most Wanted before. Kellan Lutz and Miguel Gomez have left without a lot of warning. As long as Tank sticks around, we’ll be happy, though!
