Two One Chicago shows left lives on the line. The Chicago PD Season 10 finale was one of them. Will Ruzek make it out alive?

When it comes to One Chicago finales, we always expect cliffhangers. The Chicago PD Season 10 finale did not disappoint in that aspect. Fortunately, we will have another season to resolve the cliffhanger, but for now, we have a lot of questions.

During the episode, Callum shot Ruzek for trying to take him away from his grandfather. Samantha left Ruzek to die in the house as she tried to flee with her son. However, it turned out that Callum was sharing his location with his grandfather.

Ruzek managed to make a call to Burgess, who rushed to the scene with Voight and others. They managed to get Ruzek to the hospital, but they needed to deal with the Richard, Samantha, Callum situation first. With that resolved, the questions about Ruzek’s fate remained.

Is Ruzek leaving Chicago PD?

We’ve only just recently lost an OG character from the series. Halstead left during Season 10. It seems a little crazy that we could lose another fan-favorite, but that could be the way the show goes.

As of right now, the series is staying quiet. Unlike Chicago Med, there has been no word on whether a character is leaving. This is a good sign, as it means we could see Ruzek pull through in the Season 11 premiere.

It’s going to be a long wait for the episode, though. The writers strike is delaying everything, and it’s not yet clear when the episode will arrive. With the shorter season and actors not in all of the episodes, keeping Ruzek alive and recovering could be a great way to handle the situation. We could hear updates from Burgess while Ruzek stays home recuperating.
