SEAL Team: What is next for Ray?
Ray is having a real crisis of faith and it doesn’t look like it is going to be resolved anytime soon. So what is next for Ray in SEAL Team?
A lot of things happened in last nights episode of SEAL Team. We got some sort of closure with Clay and Stella, Sonny and Davis made a big decision about their future, Emma and Jason butted heads about college and Ray’s crisis of faith reached a point that has got us all asking; what is next for Ray?
At the very end of the episode, both Ray and Jason had a heart to heart that really hit home. In a nutshell, Ray asked Jason what is the point? Despite all the good they do all of the evil in the world is still there and it seems as though it is not making any difference. Prompting Ray to ask questions about his faith.
It’s a question that is not easily answered, and one we can debate about all day really, but let’s stick with what is next for Ray?
I think it’s safe to say we will visit this storyline again and probably fairly soon. Out of all the other storylines going on, this is the one that carries a much bigger weight to it. So expect to see it play out for a little while longer.
How it will play out is not clear. Looking at the episode synopsis’ released for the next few episodes of SEAL Team shows no indication of what is going to happen next for Ray.

Taking a stab in the dark though I think things are going to get worse for him. I think Ray is going to hit rock bottom at some point. How he will rock bottom I’m not sure. Maybe drink? We did see an empty bottle of alcohol in the trash at the start of the episode that Ray tried to hide. It might not be that however, it could be through a bad judgment call while on a mission or something else entirely. Whatever it might be, I do think he will hit rock bottom.
But, I also think he will bounce back from it. This is my theory. I think Ray is about to begin a journey where he will lose his faith completely, hit rock bottom, build himself back up, and then find his faith again.
