SEAL Team Season 5 premiere date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more

The good news is SEAL Team Season 5 is officially happening. There are some changes to how it’s airing though. Here’s what we know so far.

As has been the case every season, it’s come down to the last few episodes of the season to find out if there’s going to be more for Bravo Team to do. CBS has decided again that there is. SEAL Team Season 5 is officially happening, but it’s not all going to be on CBS.

The CBS fall schedule looks mighty different to normal. NCIS is on the move to Mondays and SWAT is moving to Fridays (at first). Well, SEAL Team is also different.

It’s time to look at what we know about the future of the series so far. We’ll be sure to bring updates as they happen, so this is a post to bookmark and come back to.

SEAL Team Season 5 premiere date

There isn’t an official premiere date just yet. However, the fifth season is going to be part of the CBS fall 2021 schedule. It’s moving away from its Wednesday night slot and getting a Sunday 10/9c timeslot instead.

This is only for four episodes. The show is heading to Paramount+ (formerly CBS All Access) for the rest of the season. It will likely air weekly just as it would on the broadcast network.

CBS is looking to get fall back to normal, so expect a late September or early October start date.

SEAL Team Season 5 cast

We’re expecting the majority of the cast to return. The most recent episode of the series did put the life of one of the team members on the line. Will Full Metal make it out alive? That’s something we’ll have to wait for the finale for.

However, we will have David Boreanaz, Neil Brown Jr., Max Thieriot, AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks. Oh, and Pepper and Dita the Hair Missile better be part of the series, which means Justin Melnick will be part of the show as he’s the real-life handler for these two dogs.

SEAL Team Season 5 trailer

There isn’t a trailer just yet, which isn’t all that surprising. The season hasn’t even started filming yet. We’ll be sure to bring the trailer as soon as it’s available.

What’s the synopsis for the new season?

There isn’t a synopsis for the season, but it’s pretty much going to follow the format of the show so far. There are a few relationship issues that will need to be resolved in the fifth season because there’s no time to resolve them now.
