There’s some good news for all Sex Education fans. Netflix has confirmed that Sex Education Season 4 is going to happen.

For three seasons, we’ve watched teenagers figure out more about their bodies and sexuality than most other teenagers ever do. Sex Education seems to be just another one of those comedies that hypersexualizes teens. While there are certainly a lot of questionable moments, it also focuses on body confidence. Seasons have touched on sexual assault and the trauma after, communication between couples, and just figuring out sexuality.

Of course, we’ve been drawn into the story through some of the couples. One of those will-they-won’t-they couples has been Otis and Maeve, who finally got together at the end of the third season.

Now eyes are on whether they’ll stay together. Will they make it through their temporary long distance as Maeve heads to the U.S. for schooling? We’ll get to find out.

Sex Education Season 4 is definitely happening at Netflix

During Netflix’s TUDUM event on Saturday, Sept. 25, we got all the information we needed. Sex Education Season 4 is definitely happening.

It will be interesting to see where the story goes. Moordale was shut down at the end of the third season. With the firing of the newest headteacher, the sponsors pulled out of the school and left it with no money. The only option was to close the school, leaving the students leaving at the end of the year with uncertain futures.

When will Sex Education Season 4 happening? It will need to be written and filmed first. Then it needs to go through post-production. The majority of Netflix shows take at least 14 months between seasons, so we’re looking at around November 2022 for this show.
