You’ve seen all of Silo Season 1, and now you want more. Will there be a second season? Is Silo Season 2 happening?
Based on the novel Wool by Hugh Howey, Silo follows a dystopian future. The world has been destroyed by some sort of toxin and now everyone has to live in a silo underground. There are thousands of layers to this silo, and they take days to travel between, and everyone lives under a very communist regime as it’s the best way to keep everyone safe.
However, it turns out that not everything is as it should be. There’s a chance that someone has lied about what’s outside. Is it possible that the camera is showing a CGI that the Founders wanted people to see? That’s certainly something that some people think, and it is possible based on the people we’ve seen go outside that it is all a lie.
Of course, the season finale brought us far more questions than answers. It made us question everything we thought we knew about the world around them. Now we need more to the story.
Silo Season 2 is happening at Apple TV+
There is some good news for those who are ready for more. Silo Season 2 is officially happening.
Now for some bad news. Production is on hold. This is another series caught up in all the strike action. Production won’t start up until the strike action comes to an end. And we only want that to happen when a fair deal is reached.
What the story will follow is a question mark. Juliette Nichols was a huge protagonist in the series, but in the books, she’s not. The stories follow other characters, but TV doesn’t work well like that. So, it’s possible that the series will follow a slightly different story to expand the world originally created.
